Saturday morning, we did the local markets.
Lots of local produce but too difficult to carry them in the limited fridge
space. At 11.30 Pat and I did the Lake Argyle/Ord River trip. Bus to Lake
Argyle, visit the home of the Duracks, which was relocated when the dam was
built. The trip down the Ord was really good. It is an amazing project. We had
afternoon tea on the bank – pumpkin scones and they reckon they were better
than Lady Flo’s. We arrived in the big stretch of Lake Kununurra in time for a
fantastic sunset.
