Storm clouds greeted us this morning so we were hoping we could manage to dodge the downpours. We drove up through the Stirling Ranges via the Brookton Highway. Then across to the Canning Dam to the Araluen Botanic Gardens. Managed to see the park without rain. We were hoping to see the tulips in bloom but we were a little early. Needed our friends Chris or Jill to identify the flowers for us as only a few had name tags.
As we are staying in the Swan Valley, we decided that we should visit at least one winery while we are here. We visited "Sandalford" but they only had one of their wines from the Swan and the rest were from Margaret River. Then on to the Chocolate Factory!!! It was really crowded as it is still holiday time. Didn’t indulge!!!
