Spent a couple of wind down days at Craig & Peta’s holiday cottage. What a great little spot. We really appreciated their willingness to allow us to stay. I spent a bit of time with the camera on the tripod catching the visiting birds.
In the after-noon, we did a beach walk – have to watch out for vehicles as everyone uses the beach as a road. Late in the afternoon, we went out to the sand dunes so that we could see them in the evening light. It was amazing as there were so many motor bike and car tracks up the dunes and they made interesting patterns with the late sun-light on them. We then went to the lookout to watch the sun set over Lancelin Island and the Indian Ocean.
After lunch on Sunday, we drove to Perth where we are staying for a few days with Jo’s niece, Amanada and her partner, Greg. Again, their hospitality is much appreciated. Have to get the car serviced before we leave Perth as we have done almost 10 000km so far!!
